Principles that must be followed in CNC machining

1. Before machining important surfaces of CNC precision parts, the precision datum shall be rested once to ensure the machining accuracy of important surfaces.

2. After setting the finish benchmark for CNC machining, rough machining, semi finish machining and finish machining shall be carried out for each main surface with high precision requirements. The surface with particularly high precision needs finishing.

3. The importance of precision datum. The surface as precision datum should be machined at the beginning of CNC machining process, because it should be used to locate other surfaces in subsequent processes. That is "benchmark before others".

4. It is an important principle of CNC machining process. When machining the precision datum, it is necessary to use the coarse datum for positioning. In the processing and production of single piece, small batch parts, or even batch production, for castings and forgings with complex shape or large size, as well as blanks with large size error, the marking process shall be arranged before the machining process, so as to provide alignment reference for precision machining.

5. CNC processing for processes prone to waste products, finishing and finishing can be properly placed in front, and the processing of some minor small surfaces can be placed behind them. Reasonably plan the processing line to avoid reducing the defect rate.

6. According to the accuracy requirements of the machine tool itself, precision CNC machined parts not only need reasonable processing process lines, but also have excellent accuracy of the machine tool itself. Otherwise, the best processing technical support will fail to meet the accuracy requirements.
